Katherine C. Horigan, DVM
Chief of Staff
Dr. KC Horigan joined our NVH family in 2015. She is a Scituate native who is thrilled to be back near her hometown! Dr. Horigan attended undergrad at Lafayette College, completed her Master's degree at the University of Vermont, and went on to attain her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University.
Dr. Horigan’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is the field of pain management; this often includes designing a plan to keep your arthritic pet comfortable as they continue to age. This passion lead to her recent certification in Veterinary Acupuncture and training in Laser Therapy. Her other interests include behavior, dermatology, surgery, and dentistry.
Married to another vet, Dr. Horigan and her husband have found that their hearts have tripled in size since the birth of their tiny human. She also loves laughing, gardening, biking, pottery, and reading. Additionally, she enjoys spending her time with her rescue mutt Kiva and new pup named Mud!
Dr. KC Horigan is so excited to meet you and your pets.
