Katherine C. Horigan, DVM
Chief of Staff
Dr. KC Horigan joined our NVH family in 2015. She is a Scituate native who is thrilled to be back practicing near her hometown! Dr. Horigan attended undergrad at Lafayette College, completed her Master's degree at the University of Vermont, and went on to attain her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University.
Dr. Horigan’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is the field of pain management; this often includes designing a plan to keep your arthritic pet comfortable as they continue to age. This passion led to her recent certification in Veterinary Acupuncture and training in Laser Therapy. Her other interests include behavior, dermatology, surgery, and dentistry.
Married to another vet, Dr. Horigan and her husband have found that although they are continuously outsmarted by their tiny human their hearts have tripled in size since he entered their life. She also loves laughing, gardening, biking, pottery, and reading. Additionally, she enjoys spending time with her hunky black Labrador Muddy Puddles and six backyard chickens (Golden Sunshine, Spicy Meatball, Megalodon, Eggnog, Furry Feet & Toothless)!
Dr. KC Horigan is so excited to meet you and your pets.
