Matthew Frey, DVM

Dr. Matthew Frey is a Massachusetts native, completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and his veterinary degree at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. He is very excited to be joining the wonderful team of veterinarians and support staff at Norwell Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Frey is interested in many aspects of veterinary medicine, but particularly enjoys diagnostic imaging, surgery, and dentistry. One of his favorite aspects of working in primary care as a veterinarian is that it allows him to form relationships with patients and their families and support them through all stages of life.

Outside of work, Dr. Frey loves rock climbing, skiing, traveling, and visiting new breweries. He also enjoys spending time with his partner and their two clingy orange female cats named Myrrh and Panko (who are in his biased opinion, the most amazing cats in the world).
