Patricia Cairns, DVM
Veterinarian
A general practitioner at Norwell Veterinary Hospital since 1998, Dr. Patricia Cairns is originally from Glasgow, Scotland, she completed her undergraduate education at C.W. Post College and received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Chemistry in 1985. She continued her education at Cornell University New York State College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. Her professional interests include internal medicine, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery and dermatology.
When she's not at the hospital, Dr. Cairns loves spending time outdoors and can usually be found hiking, kayaking, camping and skiing in the winter. She and her husband, Darren Baker, a biochemist, have three children, Cameron, Jacqui and Graeme. Their family also includes Darcy, a sweet mixed breed.
